Engel Diversified Industries Inc. (EDi)

cx * Reliable Stamping Inc. and Engel Diversified Industries Inc. are both family owned and operated business.


EDi started business in 1988 with Jack, Linda and Vicki Engel running the business, doing every thing from running the press and delivering parts to cleaning the shop. Michelle and Kristine helped out when they weren't attending school and working another job. In the beginning they had one press, a shear, a complete one man tool and die shop and a 5000 square foot facility in Shakopee.

In 1991 they moved the business to a building with 15,000 square feet in Jordan, MN. As the business continued to grow, they added a 15,000 square foot building onto the same property in 1996. The first large hydraulic press was added at this time.

They continued to expand by adding by adding tube bending and fabrication services to their capabilites, along with another 15,000 feet to the existing building. Their crrentl facility is 45,000 square feet and they are providing metal fabrication, tube bending, welding and assembly as well as metal stampings.

Don Hayward, the current president of EDi joined them in May of 2006. Don worked for many years for Minnesota Technology before joining EDi


Reliable Stamping Inc.

Reliable Stamping Inc. has been in business since 1973. Their original facility was 6,000 square feet. They soon outgrew that and moved into a 20,000 square foot building. In 2005 they moved into their current 30,000 square foot facility in Ham Lake, MN.

Guy Aufderheide became a partner in Reliable Stamping Inc. in 1986. His son Craig worked with another stamping company for 8 years, before joining his father at Reliable. Four years ago Guy¹s partner past away and he purchased the business from the remaining family. Guy has been in the metal stamping business for the last 35 years. Craig is the general manager of Reliable
